This ocean view condo is located in Plaza Del Mar ( Club Section ) a 50 minute drive from the Tijuana Border on the Toll Road (cuota). We are in a Gated Community with 24 hour security, adult jacuzzi and pool within short walking distance. Spectacular Ocean Views and Sunsets. 1. Take either the I-5 or I-805 South. (Note that the I-5 and I-805 merge just before you reach the border.)
2. The right lane as you cross the border is a declaration lane for items being brought into Mexico. If you have nothing to
declare, stay in the other crossing lanes. The individual lanes are monitored by an agent. There are red and green lights
for each lane that will change when it is your turn to proceed.
3. After crossing the border, stay in the third lane from center until you cross the bridge. Look for the Rosarito/Ensenada
sign (approx. 0.2 miles.) As you go over the overpass, you will see a lane to the right. Other cars will be merging from
this lane into your lane. You will merge into the right lane and immediately take the right ramp and follow the signs to
Rosarito/Ensenada. This ramp will take you to the road along the border fence and the Tijuana River.
4. Once you have merged with traffic, you will travel along the border fence for approx. 3 miles, following the signs to
Ensenada. After driving up the big hill, look for another Rosarito/Ensenada/Playas sign. Take this exit to the right.
Once you merge into traffic, move into the left-hand lane. Follow the signs to Ensenada (Not Playas) to the toll road
(Cuota). Continue on the Toll road approx. 40 miles to the “La Mision” exit. Take the La Mision Exit and turn north
onto the free road. Continue north approx. 1 mile to Plaza del Mar Club Section. The Club Section is the north entrance
with the sliding Iron Gate.
